    Returns, Privacy, and Pricing

    Privacy Statement

    Since the beginning of our mailorder service in 1992, First State Comics has never provided any third party with any information about customers or their orders. We stand committed to that. You might get emails from us making offers, but we will never provide information about you to anyone else.

    And you don't even have to order for that to hold true; even those who enter our contests or raffles can rest assured that their information is private as well.

    Our lips are zipped.

    Pricing

    While we try to be as fair as possible, there are going to be situations, by the very nature of the areas we deal in, where prices change unexpectedly. And we don't like that. It creates more work for us.

    You won't be charged anymore for an order already paid for, but prices may change on orders that have not been filled or paid for yet. Clerical errors are aside from this, of course.

    If there is a price change, we will contact you and give you the option of buying an item at that price. You always have the option of leaving an item on backorder if you'd like to wait and see if a more suitable price arises. Believe it or not, this may happen; when a particular item is popular, suppliers often raise their prices. When things calm down, prices usually adjust back to their former numbers.

    Returns

    We don't get many returns, but can certainly see why sometimes it is necessary. Items may be returned for a refund (as outlined below) if the return is made within 10 days of receiving the shipment. You should contact us immediately to tell us you are returning the item.

    Refunds are made when an item is returned less a 20% restocking fee and the shipping costs. We do not give refunds on defective items - please consult the manufacturer for a replacement.

    Items damaged in shipment are eligible for replacement (or full refund if it not replacable) - but please keep all packaging and everything that came with the shipment together. Sometimes shipping companies want to see this to verify damage during shipment.
