MARVEL UNLEASHES TWO HOT LIMITED SERIES
In April, Marvel will release two limited series of epic scope that are sure to be at the top of many fans' must-have lists.
The X-Men's longtime foe Magneto has fought both man and mutantkind in his quest for power. Now, he will fight a different kind of enemy -- his own subjects -- beginning in Magneto: Dark Seduction #1 (FEB001089, $2.99), scheduled to ship April 5.
Written by Fabian Nicieza (Gambit) and illustrated by Roger Cruz (Wolverine), the new three-issue limited series takes place six months after Magneto and the X-Men rid the world of Apocalypse. The Master of Magnetism learns that the Genoshan Heretics who once worshipped him have betrayed him. The fan-favorite super-villain must learn who is behind the rebellion and try to stop it. With popular creators taking the X-villain to new realms of adventure, this title is sure to be popular
with X-fans.
Also scheduled to ship April 5, Inhumans Vol. 2 #1 (FEB001059, $2.99) launches a four-issue mini-series chronicling an important new chapter in the history of the Marvel Universe. The creative team behind this must-have saga is writer Carlos Pacheco (Avengers Forever) and penciler Jose Ladronn, who will illustrate this story in his acclaimed "painted" style recently seen in Thor 2000.
Eons ago, the Kree Empire performed genetic experimentation on the human race, resulting in the mysterious offshoot of humanity known as the Inhumans.
